Born and raised in Ferndale, Ca, Ashley is a Humboldt County native that knows the area like the back of her hand. Ashley is a first generation American, her family immigrated to the United States from the Azores Islands in the 1960’s where her grandfather, Joe Rosa, worked as a dairy man milking cows and her grandmother, Maria Rosa, cleaned local families homes and the Ferndale Police Dept for 30 years. A family of hard workers is an understatement. Ashley has dedicated 8 years of her life to nursing where she worked with the elderly and had continued her education about dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Not only does Ashley have compassion and patience, she also has love for Humboldt County and its members. Ashley is very involved in the community, she is a committee member for the Portuguese Holy Ghost Celebration that takes place in Ferndale, CA yearly and for the last two years she has sat on the policy council board for the North Coast Children's Services as Vice Chair. Ashley is family oriented and treats her clients as such. Ashley and her husband, Brandon, have three children. During their free time, they love to go hiking around Humboldt County’s amazing Redwood Forest.
